When we explore materials to use, our mindset is that we want to minimize the use of virgin materials, reduce landfills and make value of the unwanted.
That is why we incorporate recycled or reclaimed resources with no/low emissions wherever possible. We are proud of our own material innovation, ReCeramixTM, a material based on ceramic waste often destined for landfills.
We also prioritize renewable, recyclable, and biodegradable materials with low carbon emissions and no fossil fuels, carefully selected for quality, aesthetics, and climate impact.
Our innovation: an alternative to traditional white concrete that not only significantly reduces cement usage – a major contributor to emissions – but also keeps valuable resources in use.
Instead of conventional sand, we use ceramic waste, aiming to tackle the issues associated with both sand mining and improper ceramic waste disposal.
It also helps prevent potential soil and groundwater contamination linked to improper ceramic disposal.
The result is a bright, robust material made of over 85% waste material. It has a warm tone and traces of the ceramic waste. The material can be recycled if needed.
